In the higher town hall level it is hard to design war base, because we need to consider many attacking strategies than while being in the lower Town hall levels, such as in town hall 9 or lower. And after reaching the town hall 11 or higher than that, we need to deal with more complicated troops such as electro dragons, yeti, head hunters and even super troops and siege machine. And we design this base in such a way that, it can defend really well against every town hall 14 ground and air attack strategies.
So, let's talk about the base design. In clan-war, we have to prevent the opponent from getting 3 stars from our base. so, we have to design base in such a way that, it could defend from any attack strategy. So in this base Clan castle is placed in the center of the base. So that it will be hard to lure clan castle troops at the beginning of the attack, which will act as a defense later in the battle. And we suggest to use combination of super minions, head hunters and archer for Clan castle troops. And townhall is placed in the inner compartment, where opponent’s troops cannot reach it easily, and also siege machine cannot deal more damage while targeting town hall. And we place those traps near to the townhall, that will distract or eliminate opponent’s troops even in the Grand Warden's Eternal Tome. And eagle artillery is also placed in the inner compartment, from where it can defend base for longer time. And all the other main defensive buildings are placed into different compartments. So that the opponent cannot get more value from this base using lightning spell, which will be helpful during the hybrid attacking strategy.
And all the Air defense, X-bows and scatter shots are distributes in such a way that they can provide air coverage all over the base, which will be useful against LAVA LOON, Dragbats and other air attacking strategies. Also all the defensive buildings that can deal splash damage are placed all over the base. So it could protect base from hog rider and miners. Since core part of base is guarded with these main defensive structures, we place all the other ordinary defense on the edge of the base to protect those area from ground and air troops. Also all the heroes are placed near to the main defensive buildings and Town hall. So they can buy some extra time to eliminate opponent’s troops while they reach near to these buildings by distracting them. And since storage buildings have more hit points than other buildings. so it is placed in front of the defensive structures; which will give extra time to eliminate opponent’s troops while they are lock on these buildings. Also, all traps are placed in the area where they can work effectively against different attacking strategies.
