If you are searching for the new town hall 8 base design, you might like this one. Since it is a hybrid base, so town hall is placed in the center of the base because the town hall kept a certain portion of loots in it also it is worth a star. And since the Townhall and dark elixir has their own separate compartment and is located in the central part; the opponent's ground troops need to clear the outer buildings first to reach the town hall. And all the Air defenses are placed around the town hall, and these air defenses are placed into the different compartments, so dragons will find it hard to reach the Air defenses, which means Air defenses can defend the base for much longer. In addition to that, the Air sweeper is placed far from these Air defenses and set Air Sweeper facing all the Air Defenses. So that it can enhance Air defenses' defensiveness. Also, all the Air traps such as Air Bombs, Air mines, and Skeletons traps (Air mode) are placed near the Air defenses, which can eliminate some of the opponent's Air troops before they reach the Air defenses.
And Nowadays, people are using Dragons attack mostly, so this base can defend against them easily, but we also need to consider ground attack strategies too. So we build this base to defend from ground attack strategies too. So we placed all the important defenses into the different compartments so that they can defend the base for a little longer since ground troops need to go through the walls. Also, we placed some spring traps between defensive buildings, which can enhance the defensiveness of this base by a lot. And it remains to the Hog riders. And there is the only weakness of Hog riders is they attack in a group, so that, we placed all the Wizard Towers and Bomb Towers along with Giant Bombs in such a way that, they can provide splash damage all over the base. So, if opponents use Hog riders, they need to use most of the healing spell when they face the splash damage on their hog riders. And since this base can provide splash damage all over the base, the opponent will not have enough spells to get 2 or 3 stars from this base.
Since the Core part is guarded by these main defensive buildings, we also need some defense to protect buildings that are placed outside the walls such as gold mines and elixir collectors. So we placed all the Archer Towers, cannons, and mortars evenly so that these defenses can provide Air and ground coverage along with Splash damage coverage for those buildings. Also, these defenses can hold the opponent's troops for a bit longer.
And in conclusion, this base can defend really well against every town hall 8 attack strategies without having the CC troops, And if you have the CC troops, it will be even hard to get 1 star from this base. And for the CC troops we recommend the following combinations of troops;
- 1 Dragon and 1 Balloon
- 1 Baby dragon, 1 Valkyrie, and rest are Archers
- 1 Baby dragon, 2 Head Hunters, and rest is Archers
